MAHINDRA RACING RENEW KIT PARTNERSHIP WITH ONE ALL SPORTS IN SHARED VISION FOR INCREASED SUSTAINABILITY

Mahindra Racing Renew Kit -

26 January 2020, Banbury, UK– Entering the 2020/21 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship season, Mahindra Racing will once again be partnered with One All Sports, the team’s original kit supplier from Seasons 1 and 2.

Following Mahindra Racing’s recent Three-Star FIA Sustainability Accreditation award, One All Sports was a natural choice for kit supplier, due to their shared vision and dedication to the use of sustainable materials, applications and processes.

The majority of the kit items produced for the team for Season 7 will be fully sustainable; made using recycled and organic fabrics.

The organic cotton that One All Sports is using for Mahindra Racing’s team apparel is grown in a chemical-free environment, is processed using natural enzymes and has received a Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS); recognised as the world's leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres.

The polyester fibres used to produce the team kit are made from REPREVE; the leading, most trusted, branded performance fibre made from recycled material. This process of producing these fibres, using the ECO CIRCLE recycling systems, uses approximately 50% less energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions compared to traditional technology methods.

“We are back to where it all started with Mahindra Racing! Throughout our working relationship with Mahindra Racing, we have discussed how Formula E’s vision for a sustainable future should be embedded into supply chains, and have since spent years perfecting products that meet the criteria of sustainably sourced and recycled products. For Season 7, Mahindra Racing and One All Sports have created a capsule collection to bring together a range of products that lay this foundation of sustainability, which we hope will encourage others to follow suit.”
